This is for the 24ft pole and seems to be sturdy and will be easy to use when hanging Christmas lights inthe trees which is our main reason to purchase this pole, We purchased a hook separately for hanging thelights. lt is not too heavy but fully extended, it can be a little awkward to use. Also like the fact it has athreaded top so we can change to a paint roller for example.
